The bowl has a special suction base which will keep it in still on flat & smooth surfaces. The bowl is shaped with purpose; the curved top rim of the bowl allows the spoon contents to be leveled off before it’s brought to baby’s mouth, and makes sure that there’s no yucky spills over the edge of the bowl.
