This gorgeous botanical perfume is handcrafted by Mimosa Botanicals in Castlemaine, Victoria.
A sunny floral scent inspired by balmy summer evenings when the sun is low on the horizon, sending a warm glow through the fields, trees and abundant seasonal wildflowers.
Top note: Mandarin vert, sun ripened stone fruit.
Heart note: White champaca, mimosa & almond blossom.
Base note: Vanilla, pacific sandalwood, everlasting daisy.
Scent story – July 2023 in Sault, Provence in the South of France. It’s 37c, too hot to be out during the day yet as the sun starts to set over the fields of lavender and abundant wildflowers, I set off down an overgrown path, where apricot trees are drooping with the weight of sun ripened fruit, heady and sweet juxtaposed to the dry earth & sun warmed wild growth of summer.
As golden hour approaches, I pick a bunch of wildflowers & tuck them into my basket. I pause & watch as the glow grows stronger creating a haze over me and the summer fields.
