Oculus Necklace / Blush

The Oculus charm necklace draws inspiration from fine, stone-set jewellery interpreted and crafted in clay.

This necklace was about creating a paired-back pendant that included fine and interesting design details. 

Named after circular “oculus” windows found in Neoclassical architecture that often include a design flourish around the border. 

From Erin : “The tiny decorative white beading feature was a fun challenge to make. There is something very satisfying about making a perfect ball from clay”.

Gold filled chain (jewellers brass with a multi-layered coating of real gold which achieves a thicker coating than gold plating).
